1. Require Password After Waking From Sleep
- Choose System Preferences from the Apple menu.
- Click Security
- Click the General tab
- Check the box ‘Require Password Immediately after sleep/screensaver begins.’
2. Enable Built-in Firewall.
Mac OS X v10.6 and later:
- Choose System Prefs
- Click Security
- Click Firewall tab
- Unlock: Click lock lower-left corner; enter admin username / password
- Click Start – enable firewall
- Click Advanced to customize firewall
For Mac OS X v10.5
- Choose System Prefs
- Click Security
- Click Firewall tab
- Choose mode
